Nearly twenty-five thousand households in south-east Queensland were left without power on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems swept through the area, bringing wind gusts hitting 109km/h.
Massive Frozen Precipitation and Extensive Impact
Homeowners witnessed giant hailstones measuring up to 7 centimeters in certain regions. Weather authorities confirmed that multiple regions across the state had been hit with significant hail.

Emergency crews were attempting to repair energy supply throughout the damaged zones, with nearly 70 crews working to manage the widespread outages.
Southern State's Storm Challenges
At the same time, nearly 1,000 households in Victoria also encountered energy failures after the capital city recorded its most precipitation in over 500 days.
State Emergency Services received over five hundred emergency reports across the area, primarily for property damage but also for fallen timber and inundation.

- Hoppers Crossing suburb - numerous emergency calls
- Wyndham - nearly 180 calls for assistance
At one point on Sunday, over twenty-eight thousand power users in the state were experiencing outages.
Meteorological Predictions
Humid circumstances were expected to linger along much of Queensland's east this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coast.
Tuesday was forecast to be the wettest day, with continued thunderstorm potential anticipated across various areas of both regions.
Health Warning
Public health experts warned that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, particularly given the existing atmospheric conditions.
